We have a couple road trips coming up over the next few months and I'm trying to load my iPod with some good music to play over Vannie White's speakers (especially in those middle of nowhere places along the way where the radio won't tune in).
If you have suggestions of family friendly songs or "albums" that I should consider adding to the mix, please comment away! Help me build my playlist!!
Currently, I tend to listen to almost exclusively praise and worship music, though I'm not opposed to adding some secular stuff that has a good message. I grew up listening to a lot of stuff my parents listened to and 80s music, which I still like. But finding stuff that the kids won't complain about too much that C and I still enjoy is important for the sanity of our trips. It should also be music that won't put a driver to sleep, but isn't agitating either.
I know it's a lot of requirements, but that's why I'm asking others to help me out here! Thanks for your input.
Well you already listen to lots of show tunes, right? What about other movie soundtracks where the kids would recognize the songs?
