I'm not sure if this will be a regular series on Wednesdays -- mostly because wackiness ensues here pretty much every day of the week and it's far too much to track -- but this morning, our son, Z, was chatting it up at breakfast and I just chuckled at his commentary. I wanted to share it here with you all.
Not sure what came over him, but suddenly he said, "I think working in a restaurant for a first job would be a good idea. Like McDonald's or something."
I nodded, but didn't really comment. Then he continued.
"I mean, I could learn how to work at McDonald's and then when they became flying McDonald's, maybe I could learn to fly it. Because when I'm 17, lots of things will fly -- it'll be the future. There'll be flying restaurants, flying houses, flying dogs ... I wish I knew how to fly."
He's nine now ... so who knows? A lot can happen in eight years. You heard his predictions here.
Ha! He's funny. And even though I hated it, I am glad to have fast food work in my past. It's humbling. :P
