... other things keep getting in the way this week.
Really, there have been no major catastrophes here and things are moving along as usual, but every time I keep thinking how much I want some time to blog, something else comes up and I don't get to it.
I wanted to blog a story about batteries in our house (and reference one of my favorite episodes of The Middle).
I wanted to blog more in the Friendship Series.
I wanted to blog about some homeschooling stuff.
I wanted to blog about some Paleo stuff.
I wanted to blog about some iPhone stuff.
And I will. I'm keeping a list in my iPhone notepad of things I want to blog about when I find some down time.
Speaking of my iPhone, I'm finding myself further from my regular computer because I don't have to sit at my messy desk to check my calendar or reply to email any more. I can still do those things via my phone -- out there in the main part of the house where the rest of the family lives. So that's a good thing, right?
But blogging on my phone (I did my Yoga post on my phone) proves to be more challenging. I need to find a balance. I appreciate your patience while I do that.
I am posting to Instagram (from my phone) practically every day, though, so if you miss me in the in between times, check me out on there. I am in love with Instagram even though I spent a long time mocking it in the dumb-phone days. I didn't understand. Now, it brings me some digital joy in recording snapshots of my day and life and sharing those with you. And I get to enjoy snapshots of your day (if you have Instagram and let me know) from my phone while I'm in line at the schools waiting to pick up my nieces or while sitting on my couch near my husband, while he watches something I'm not into.
The short story is that for the moment, I am well. I hope you are, too.
