Thoughtful Thursday: Field Trips

Field trips were always some of the most fun times I remember about school growing up.  So I try to make sure we have plenty of those ourselves.  The nice thing about homeschooling is that we can do all day field trips or overnight field trips and I don't even have to get parental permission slips signed.

This week we saw Charlotte's Web on stage at Popejoy Hall on the UNM campus and we also visited the Nature Center and hiked around the Rio Grande Bosque.  We've done plenty of table-school, too, but I love weeks like this when we can just get out and do something different.

Enjoy some nice autumn pictures from probably the most autumny-looking place in our region (the bosque).  It sure doesn't compare with New England's fall foliage, but for around here, it's not too bad.  We like it.
