While I was typing up my last blog post, I was interrupted by J and O who have been playing together up in the loft for an hour or so. They came to show me the new costumes they created.
J was wearing a blindfold and holding one of those big plastic crayon banks (you know, they're like three feet long and from the Dollar Tree). O had pillows strapped all over his body with belts and he wore a funny jacket and hat over those.
J explained, "We invented some new costumes! I'm the person who whacks a pinata ... can you guess what O is?"
Oh my word. My children can be so randomly entertaining at times I can hardly stop the tears right now from laughing so hard.
What's even funnier is that O was all happy and excited to be her pinata. Go figure!
I'm a little curious what they have planned to pop out of him when she whacks him hard enough.
Well, I hope she doesn't whack him hard enough!

S told me she had seen them "testing" their costumes earlier and that was before O added the pillows. So I guess a lesson was learned. Yay!
