Patriot's Day

Hello Friends,

I wanted to post for you an amazing video about why we remember 9/11/01 and how awesome our God is that was shared with us in our church service on Sunday, but I have yet to locate it on YouTube or wherever our audio/video ministry team got it.  Also, requests for that information are so far left unanswered.  So maybe I'll find out later and you can check it out another day.

In the meantime, I had a few minutes to post something and so I wanted to just say thank you for all the firefighters, police officers, rescue workers, Red Cross volunteers and countless other citizens who were willing to sacrifice time and even their very lives in some cases to help all those who were injured or hurting (due to losses) in the 9/11 attacks on our country.

I know it's eleven years late, but I still think about that day and all the people who gave so much of themselves for strangers.  I love living in a country where even though we don't all know one another, we are willing to put so much on the line for one another in times of need.

Those who do are the true patriots.  If you are one of them, thank you for your patriotism.  Thank you for your concern and compassion for other citizens of this nation.  If you know of another, pass this message of gratitude along.

Thank you.
