Presidential

Happy Presidents' Day!

In honor of our country's leaders (over the years), my sister (visiting from the Northwest), our nieces (born on the west coast), our children (born on the east coast) and I (who can represent various regions across the country based on travel and moves) are coming together from all parts of this great nation to drive to the best doughnut shop in the land (at least locally anyway) and then off to the Explora! museum for fun and learning.

Neither are on the list of important places to visit before we die ... but we think they're pretty special, so yeah.

Hope you're enjoying your holiday with whatever you have planned.  Or work.  Whatever. :)

P.S. It's always nice having family visit.  Gives us an excuse to visit more places locally, don't you think?  Someone to show around town and stuff.  Love it.

  1. That's the fun thing about company! It encourages people to stop routine and do something they've been maybe putting off. :) Although I don't think your family is really the type to put off fun stuff for the kids. But I had a great President's Day!
