Raising boys into godly men is something of a particular challenge. It's not something C and I take lightly, but there are days when it seems just about impossible! We shall not give up. I know the Lord has great plans for these boys. These future men. I am blessed to be a part of their journey.
While I'm on the subject, I thought I should mention a book our older two sons have particularly enjoyed. It is His Mighty Warrior: A Treasure Map from Your King, by Sheri Rose Shepherd. It is written as if our Father is speaking directly to His son(s). Each section includes a letter from God to the boy/reader, a Scripture verse and then a prayer for the boy to pray back to God. It is written in a really impactful way that captures the attention of the most adventurous boys -- it really challenges them to become warriors for the Lord. Check it out.
